How much does war really cost?
Under Operation Epic Fury, more than 1,200 targets were reportedly struck in just 48 hours.
• Three F-15 jets lost — about $300 million
• Pre-strike troop and equipment deployment, $630M+
• Tomahawk missiles — around $2 million each
• Two aircraft carriers — roughly $13 million per day to operate
The total projected cost: somewhere between $40 billion and $95 billion.
But beyond the billions spent on weapons, fuel, and logistics, more than 500 casualties have already been reported.
Missiles can be counted.
Jets can be priced.
Budgets can be calculated.
Lives cannot.
In the end, the real question isn’t just how much money was spent, it’s how much humanity was lost.
