A Lebanese-British mother, scientist, and public health professional - with over ten years of experience in research and policy analysis in the Middle East - Maha's debut children's book reflects upon the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Becoming a mother during the global lockdown, alongside preparing a library of children's books for her son's library, Maha noticed a lack of titles for young readers that addressed healthcare topics.

In light of the pandemic, which caused a build-up in stress, fear and anxiety for us all, SOMETIMES I WORRY is dedicated to informing children about their confusing emotions and how best to process and deal with them.
