🤯🔥INEVITABLE MESSI!

Lionel Messi once again was the hero for Inter Miami, scoring twice in playing time and converting his penalty in shootout to qualify the team for the quarterfinals of the Leagues Cup!

In the 6th minute, Messi combined with former Barca mate Jordi Alba to curl a terrific shot into the FC Dallas net, in what was a re-enactment of his famous 'El Clasico' last gasp winner in the Bernabeu.

FC Dallas reacted ferociously, netting 3 goals to swing the tie to their favour, and by the 80th minute, they led 4-2. Messi forced an own goal with an inswinger to reduce the deficit, and in the 85th minute, he converted an outrageous free kick to draw parity.

Inter Miami eventually won the game 5-3 on penalties with Messi converting his spot kick alongside Campana, Milla, Cremaschi and ex-Barcelonista Busquets.

Inter Miami are into the quarterfinals of the League's Cup.

😬🥺🇨🇲Clearly not the debut Andre Onana would have wished for in the Theatre of Dreams!

Lobbed from midfield, he was made to pay on the same aspect which is his attractiveness. Andre Onana , as a sweeper, is fond of positioning himself way up the goal line to partake in build-up play.

With such an aspect in his game, it's imperative for Andre Onana to have attentive players with sweet feet ahead of him because the moment one sets a foot wrong, the opponents will do the goalkicker dirty as seen today.

Cameroon's under-20 Lions defeat Burkina Faso 2-1 to win gold in the 2023 La Francophonie Games. The baby Lions put up a stellar show all tournament and clearly merit their win. Arthur Avom and Nebamkia got the goals today.

This is the first time in history that Cameroon wins football gold at the games.

Much criticised for lack of results since being in charge of Cameroon's football powerhouse, Samuel Eto'o and his team finally get a first. This win is not coming in the most popular of competitions, but it could just mark a turnaround. Just!
