What happens when you mix the wonderfully weird world of Roald Dahl with the limitless imagination of children? You get a joyous, interactive Roald Dahl storytelling experience for children in Dubai, where the audience gets to decide what happens next. Coming to Courtyard Playhouse in Al Quoz on Saturday 12, September and Saturday 26th September from 11am – 12pm.

Expect mischievous characters, peculiar creatures, unexpected twists and plenty of silliness, as performers build the story live on stage using suggestions from the audience. Who will be the hero? Who will be the villain? Will there be a monster, a talking animal or something completely unexpected?

🏃🏽‍♀️ The Dubai Mallathon. We came to walk, talk and feel virtuous. Jen, meanwhile, seemed to have heard “athlon” and came along for a PB. 🏃🏽‍♀️

Our team hit up the Dubai Mallathon at Dubai Hills Mall this morning, where everyone is very much encouraged to go at their own pace. Ours ranged from power walk to a more conversational “hot girl” walk, while Jen repeatedly appeared from behind having lapped us. Again. (And again.)

We’ll definitely be back before it wraps up. Might even bring the kids along one weekend and call it a wholesome family activity.
