Dealership Guy: I’m curious and if you don’t mind me asking, why would you rather drive a minivan and give up a Bentley.
Me: I came from a mindset where everybody had to look like millionaires . To Now be living in a world where everybody has millions but nobody looks like it at all. I also realized that my kid’s generational wealth was never going to be achieved if they kept watching me waste it on my ego. I teach my sons that we were not sacrificing when we couldn’t afford it. We sacrifice when you can afford something but choose not to waste it. I knew that if I changed my mindset, I will change their future. I hadn’t heard anyone hate on me in over 20yrs. Not because there probably hadn’t been none, but I disconnected myself from anyone who would be free to tell me what they said. I’ve never in my life told a friend what someone said about them. Somebody else told my friends what they said. I was either locked up or on the run because of my reaction to them saying it. The moral of the story is that haters only exist in an environment of like minded people. To hear a hater ,is to be in a hater’s reach. If crabs in a bucket have access to you to tell you what they said, that means you are in the same bucket for them to reach you. It is my prayer that those that hate me, i hope they hate me so much that when they realize im probably up doing something, it makes them get out of bed or off the block because they desire to out do me and win. I pray that God bless others before He blesses me. Because I know that by the time they really win, they would have learned that they had to let go of the hate to get their.
