This one was strictly a DJI only video transmission project, was a challenge rounding up the the kit from all around but was a great experience breaking out of our comfort zone with Teradek.

Kicking off my first Facebook post with a cherished memory from the set of Desert Warrior. After three years in post-production, we're eagerly anticipating its release later this year, 2025. Spending nearly five months immersed in NEOM's untouched desert was an unparalleled experience. Witnessing the rapid infrastructural growth over subsequent visits, I realize how unique and fleeting that pristine environment was.​

My journey began with the MOBILE VIDEO VILLAGE (MVV) Version 1.0—a Land Cruiser 70 pickup. I’ll need to delve into my archives to unearth footage of that beast. In the post you see the MVV 2.0 to 2.1 build: a Jeep Gladiator, meticulously customized for Film Productions as a Video Utility Vehicle. This rig has been a game-changer, blending rugged capability with modern comfort for quick moves and uninterrupted video capabilities integrated with a Qtake system.
