In February 2006 a private television was established by the name of “Shamshad Entertainment and Educational TV Channel”. SHAMSHAD TV is the 1st Pastho channel that provides original content that helps Afghan tradition and culture. SHAMSHAD TV is the
only true Pashto TV Channel in the region and is the only representative of 63.4 Million Pashtoon populations around the

with complete expertise. Pastho is the main language of all programs broadcasted while some News programs are also broadcasted in Dari, English and Arabic
