As Director of Downtown Design from 2015-2021, I had to educate the international design industry on the opportunity presented by the rapidly evolving creative landscape in the Dubai. To say this was a challenge is an understatement. Despite the challenge, we grew the fair exponentially and established a new blueprint for the fair experience. To see how the world is now flocking to our city, seeking to be a part of this incredible design scene that we built, is not only rewarding but begins to lay the foundations for meaningful collaborations and growth for years to come.
