Three weeks.

That's all it took to change my life.

But those three weeks felt like forever.

Every day I was applying for jobs.

Every other day I had interviews.

One day, I didn't even have enough money to get back home after an interview, so I walked nearly 13 kilometers in the heat.

There were moments when I questioned everything.

But I kept applying.
I kept showing up.
I kept believing.

Today, Alhamdulillah, I'm back in the IT industry as a Software Engineer.

If you're going through a difficult phase, remember:

Your current situation is temporary.
Don't let one bad chapter convince you the whole story is over.

Someone recently offered me a Data Controller position for AED 2,500.

No visa.
No accommodation.
No transport.
No food.

I said no.

Not because I'm above working.

After everything I've been through, I've done whatever it took to survive.

But surviving shouldn't mean accepting every offer without thinking about your future.

I know my skills.

I know what I can contribute.

I'm looking for an IT opportunity, and I'm willing to stay patient until I find one that's fair.

Sometimes the hardest thing isn't saying "yes."

It's having the courage to say "no."

I also made one rule for myself.

I won't accept just any job because I'm desperate.

I've worked in places where employees were underpaid, overworked, and made to feel replaceable.

This time, I'm choosing patience over desperation.

I'm looking for an opportunity in my IT field, and InshaAllah I'll find the right one.
