Congratulations to seven year old Shane Mathews of GEMS Founders School Dubai. Shane's drawing of a fluffy lion was one of the ten selected from thousands of global submissions to IKEA. Shane's lion will be made into a soft toy, part of IKEA's limited edition collection. Sales proceeds from this collection help organisations such as Save the Children and Unicef.

The competition called on students to submit a proposal for an original DNA experiment that would be conducted aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
