I enjoy being a consultant not because I always want to be right, but because I choose to stand for what is right.

I fight for the right thing to do. I promote fair play, proper processes, quality standards, and accountability. Hindi para magmukhang magaling, kundi dahil alam kong may consequence ang bawat maling decision sa isang project.

I know sometimes, my aura can come across as mayabang, feeling perfect, or parang laging may gustong kontrahin. 😂 Pero honestly, most of the time, gigil lang talaga. Frustrated ako kapag alam nating mali, pero pinipili pa ring gawin dahil “pwede na,” “ganyan naman dati,” or “wala namang makakapansin" ang linyahan ng mga tao

And as a consultant, you learn that not everyone will appreciate you for pointing out what needs to be corrected. And that’s okay.

Our job is not to be liked all the time. Our job is to protect the project, uphold the standards, and do what is right, even when doing the right thing is uncomfortable.

At the end of the day, I’d rather be called mayabang for demanding the right standard than be praised for being easy to deal with while allowing something wrong to pass.

Standards are not meant to make us look perfect. They are there to make the work better, safer, and more worthy of the people who trust us.

Keep learning. Keep improving. Keep your standards high.

And when you know something is wrong, have the courage to speak up.

Do the right thing even when nobody is clapping for it.
