What’s going on in Bangladesh (2026)

1. Economic growth (still developing)
Bangladesh economy is growing, but slower than before
-Growth is around 4%–5% in 2026
- Before, it was higher (6–7%), so now it’s slower but still positive
Meaning: Country is developing, but not very fast right now.

-Prices of food, fuel, transport increasing
-Recently fuel price also increased due to global crisis
-Meaning: People feel pressure in daily life

3. Big economic challenges
-Banking system is weak (many bad loans)
-Investment is low
-Foreign reserve pressure
-Poverty increased slightly

4. Political change (important)
-New government came in 2026 after election
-Led by Tarique Rahman - Sir it's humble request focus on our economic stability. We want to show world. Bangladesh can grow up🙏
Good side:
-Political stability can help economy grow again

5. Development programs (good progress)
