A history of global terrorist attacks and its tie to Pakistan

1-Shehzad Tanweer 🇵🇰 (British/Pakistani) One of four su***de bombers in the 7 July 2005 London attacks . On 7 July 2005 he detonated a bomb on a Circle Line Underground train in London, killing 52 people.
2-Mohammad Sidique Khan 🇵🇰 (British/Pakistani) – Mastermind among the four 7 July 2005 bombers .
3-Hasib Hussain 🇵🇰(British/Pakistani) – The youngest su***de bombers . On 7 July 2005 he detonated a bomb on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square (London), killing 13 people
4-Jawad Akbar, 🇵🇰 Waheed Mahmood, 🇵🇰 Anthony Garcia, Salahuddin Amin 🇵🇰(British/Pakistani) – Co-defendants in the 2004 fertilizer plot.
5- Ajmal Kasab 🇵🇰(Pakistani) – Gunman in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks . A Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba militant, Kasab was one of 10 attackers who struck Mumbai on 26–29 November 2008, killing 164.
6--Faisal Shahzad🇵🇰 (Pakistani–American) – Times Square car-bomb attempt (USA, May 1, 2010)
7-Abid Naseer 🇵🇰(Pakistani) – al-Qaeda bomb-plotter (UK, 2009 target) . A Pakistani national, Naseer conspired with others to bomb a crowded shopping mall in Manchester around April 2009, and had also planned attacks on the NYC subway and a Copenhagen office.
8-A Pakistani-born Canadian businessman, 🇵🇰Tahawwur Hussain Rana provided financial/logistical support to Lashkar operations in Pakistan and conspiring terrorists. In particular, he supported David Headley and others in planning the 2008 Mumbai attacks and plotted a 2009 terror attack in Denmark. Rana was convicted in the U.S. in 2011 and, on January 17, 2013, sentenced to 14 years in prison.
9- Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi 🇵🇰(Pakistani) – Mumbai attack mastermind . Lakhvi, co-founder and operations chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba, was a prime planner of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Arrested in Pakistan in 2009
10-Junaid Iqbal 🇵🇰(Pakistani) – Wilders assassination plot (Netherlands) . A Pakistani-born Dutch citizen, Iqbal was convicted in 2019 for plotting an attack on Dutch MP Geert Wilders
11-Muhammad Shahzeb Khan 🇵🇰(Pakistani) – New York City Jewish center plot (planned Oct 2024) . Khan, a 20-year-old Pakistani citizen residing in Canada, conspired to carry out a mass shooting on a Brooklyn Jewish community center in early October 2024.
12- The London bridge attack 2017
Eight people were killed and 48 injured on 3 June 2017 when terrorists ploughed into pedestrians in a hired van before launching a deadly knife attack.
Punjab, born Pakistani Khuram butt 🇵🇰 was named as one of the attackers
13-Malik Faisal Akram🇵🇰, a British citizen of 🇵🇰 origin, took four people hostage in Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville city, Texas, US in 2022
He was shot by FBI.
14-In 2016 a Pakistani 🇵🇰driver named Abdullah Gulzar Khan carried out su***de attack in Jedda, Saudi Arabia
15-Farooque Ahmed who is a naturalized U.S. citizen born in , 🇵🇰, was sentenced 23 years in jail for plotting to bomb Washington Metro stations at Arlington cemetery, Pentagon City, Crystal City and Court House. In April 2011
16-Syed Haris Ahmed a naturalized American citizen born in Pakistan🇵🇰 was convicted on June 9, 2009, of conspiring to provide material support to terrorism in the United States and abroad. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
17- 2 Pakistanis 🇵🇰 arrested in Greece for plotting terrorist attack at Jewish restaurant in 2023
18-Anjem Choudary🇵🇰 , The 56-year-old Pakistani-born lawyer is charged with directing a terrorist organisation in UK. Year 2023.
19-Ramzi Ahmed Yousef 🇵🇰 Pakistani was one of the main perpetrators of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing which killed 6 people and injure more than 1000. He was arrested in Pakistan in 1995.
