Videos circulating on social media appear to show Sindh police officers treating a Pashtun trader violently. Sources say that police in the province have forcibly removed a number of Pashtun traders from their shops and workplaces and transferred them to prison.

According to reports, these traders are also being prevented from continuing their commercial activities in Sindh province.

Final Video Message of a Migrant Who Died in Nimroz Desert Due to Extreme Heat Released

A final video message recorded by one of the 14 migrants who lost their lives due to extreme heat and dehydration in the deserts of Nimroz province has been released.

Reports say that the mobile phone of one of the victims was found, containing a video recorded during his final moments. The victim was reportedly a resident of Dara Bum district in Badghis province.

In the video, the migrant can be heard describing the unbearable heat, severe thirst, and his helpless situation in the desert.

The video has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many expressing concern over the dangers faced by migrants traveling through harsh routes.

According to available information, the person who recorded the message later died along with his companions due to extreme heat and dehydration in the desert.

Floods caused by recent rains affect several Afghan provinces

Recent heavy rains have caused floods in several provinces of Afghanistan, resulting in financial and human losses.

The provinces of Khost, Paktia, Paktika, and Maidan Wardak have been affected by the recent floods, which have caused damage to residents and agricultural areas.

Preliminary information shows that one person has died and around 102 jeribs of agricultural land have been damaged in Maidan Wardak province due to the floods.

Local officials in Maidan Wardak say assessments of the flood damage are still ongoing, and the extent of losses may change after complete information is collected.

Meanwhile, heavy rains last night damaged a road between Paktika and Paktia provinces, causing difficulties for commuters.

Residents in the Machlaghu area of Paktia province also reported financial losses due to the recent rainfall. They said that despite more than 24 hours passing, they have not yet received any assistance.

In Khost province, a key bridge over the Shamal River in the Gurbuz area has also been damaged. The bridge connects Gurbuz district and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Khost province.

Local residents have highlighted the importance of the bridge and called for urgent action to repair it.
