ā˜€ļø It has been one week since I lost the sunshine of my life. One week of trying to figure out how to move on or if I should just stay in bed with the covers over my head.
šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ But, it seems Italy has bigger plans for me. So, like language, I am in a constant state of change. Change is scary, for sure. Some changes are amazing: engagements, new pets, big movesā€¦ and some changes are earth shattering: divorce, death, lossā€¦
šŸŖ“Iā€™m not ready for any big changes so Iā€™m starting small. Today, I did something I have notoriously hated: I played in dirt. I have been craving salsa and I just canā€™t find cilantro here in Italy. A couple weeks ago, Andrew bought me some cilantro plants. Admittedly, I have left them in their small pots for too long and they have started to die off, much like Latin.
šŸŒ±So I decided they needed a change if they were to live. Bigger pots, fresh soil, water, and some sunlightā€¦ I have the black thumb of doom so hopefully this helps my little cilantro plants.
šŸŒˆAnd hopefully this helps me too.
šŸŒ…Change is terrifying. But without changeā€¦ we die off. So hereā€™s to change, however scary it may be.
