The international event, located in Taormina during the months of September or October, usual destination of the international jet-set , where the most prestigious names of the international fashion take part. The selection panel of THE LOOK OF THE YEAR is made up of the most known professionalists of the world of look, photographers, stylists and models. THE LOOK OF THE YEAR is able to involve every year more than 40 countries, making use of numerous Seats all over the world. The organizers, thanks to the media, radio, television and newspapers, promote the event and the research of the models for the international phase. The casting of THE LOOK OF THE YEAR start with the participation of about 200, 000 girls, from 16 years old to 22 years old, minimum height 1,75 m, size 40/42, giving to all of them equal opportunity to take part at the event, without discriminating colour, race, religion or ethnic origin, through a correct and impartial way, without favouritism towards any of participants, until to reach the choice of 40 candidates, who will participate at the International Fashion Award. THE LOOK OF THE YEAR stands out for the mix of Style, Beauty and Personality research, letting emerge some of the finalists, becoming point of reference for those who want to undertake their career in the world of modelling. The finalists of the International Fashion Award will spend some days dedicated to the preparation of the final show: choreography rehearsal, photo reportages, posture, hair and make-up.
