Reflecting on our recent tour with Miqayel Voskanyan in France 🇫🇷 where he introduced Armenian music and Armenian tar to new audiences through performances and masterclasses! 🎶

Each moment was unforgettable - from a solo concert at the Armenian Apostolic Cathedral in Marseille, to sharing the evolution of Armenian music at The Massenet Conservatory in Saint-Étienne, to jamming with incredible musicians at Salon d’Arménie in Lyon, and performing in the city of love—Paris—on Valentine’s Day, and many more.

We’re grateful for all the new connections and opportunities this tour has brought, and we can’t wait to see where they lead.

We are thrilled to announce that 250km has made it to the Oscar’s longlist after winning the First Prize at the 51st Athens International Film and Video Festival, a 2024 Academy Award-qualifying festival!

Congratulations to the Director Hasmik Movsisyan and the entire creative team! We eagerly await the Oscar results.

The film’s global accomplishments and more than a dozen of international awards are a testament to the resilience and strength of its story and the incredible team behind it. This accomplishment speaks of the exceptional potential of Armenian creators to engage in meaningful dialogue with international audiences through art.

Ուրախ ենք կիսվել Օբերտոնի նոր նախագծերի շարքով՝ երեխաների համար երգի արտադրություն:

Մեր առաջին համագործակցությունը 7-ամյա Վան Ոսկանյանի հետ է՝ նրա դեբյուտային «Բարի գիշեր» երգի շրջանակում: Վանը երգի մեղեդին և խոսքերը ստեղծել է ինքնուրույն՝ 4 տարեկանում՝ Օբերտոնում պատահական ձայնագրման ընթացքում: Ուրախ էինք օգնել նրան կյանքի կոչել և հրապարակել երգը:

Դե իսկ արտադրության փուլում Օբերտոնն ապահովեց՝
• Երգի արտադրությունը՝ ձայնագրություն, խմբագրում և համադրում,
• Թողարկման կառավարումը՝ վիզուալ բովանդակության պատրաստում, թողարկման առաջխաղացում:

Սա շատ հետաքրքիր փորձառություն էր մեզ համար և սիրով պատրաստ ենք իրականացնել ստեղծարար փոքրիկների երաժշտական մտքերը։

We’re thrilled to share a new project: song production for kids.

Our first collaboration was with seven-year-old Van Voskanyan for his debut song, "Bari Gisher" (Good Night). The melody and lyrics were originally improvised by Van at the age of 4 during a spontaneous recording session at Oberton studio. We had the privilege of helping him bring the final version of the song to life.

Oberton’s contributions included:
• Song production: recording, arrangement, mixing, and mastering
• Release management: artwork and visualizer production, release marketing

This experience was truly inspiring for us, and we would gladly support other young talents like Van in bringing their musical and creative visions to life.

Lucy Yeghiazaryan's new album "Beside the golden door" is available on all digital platforms. The vinyl edition is released by Oberton Records.

It was a great pleasure to work with Lucy and to have this one-of-a-kind conceptual album as Oberton's first album released on vinyl. In this album, Lucy paired jazz standards with Armenian songs offering her personal reflection on what it means to be an immigrant in America. This album also became a collaboration point between musicians from Armenia and New York:

Նախորդ ամիս ՆՓԱԿ-ում կայացավ Օբերտոնի կազմակերպած ու համադրած համերգը՝ «Տվյալներից անդին» խորագրով՝ «Կատապուլտ» ստեղծագործական աքսելերացիոն ծրագրի ցուցահանդեսի շրջանակում՝ ուղղված Հայաստանում ստեղծարար և մշակութային ոլորտների տնտեսական զարգացմանը:

Միքայել Ոսկանյանի, «Տիեզերք» խմբի, Մարբի, «Մենք ենք մեր սարերը» արցախյան երգի-պարի համույթի և Աշ Ղազարի կատարումներով համերգը միտված էր ներկայացնել ժամանակակից հայկական և ժամանակակից ժողովրդական երաժշտությունը: «Տվյալներից անդին» ցուցահանդեսի շրջանակներում իրականացրած այս համերգով Օբերտոնը փորձեց ներկայացնել հայկական երաժշտարվեստի գեղարվեստական զարգացման հեռանկարները՝ մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանման և ընդլայնման համատեքստում:

Last month, Oberton was trusted to organize and curate the "Beyond Data: Live Concert" at NPAK in the framework of Katapult Pavilion, a platform for exhibition and promotion of Armenia’s creative industries.

Featuring performances by Miqayel Voskanyan, Տիեզերք band / Tiezerk Band, Marbey, “We are our mountains” Artsakh song-dance ensemble, and Ash Ghazar, the concert aimed on promoting contemporary Armenian music and modern folk with a collaborative Live program. As part of the “Beyond Data” exhibition, Oberton tried to open a new horizon for the Armenian music scene in the context of the preservation and expansion of cultural heritage through encouraging collaboration and integrity.
