Փետրվարի 13-ին Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին նշում է Տեառնընդառաջը: Տոնը նշվել է դեռևս հեթանոսական ժամանակներում, երբ խարույկ էր վառվում, որով ժողովուրդը ողջունում էր գարնան գալուստը, և խարույկի վրայից կարող էին թռչել բոլորը, մաքրվելով մեղքերից ու երկար ու երջանիկ կյանք ակնկալելով:
