Rose and Sarkis Colombosian invented yogurt❕

Yogurt was first commercially produced and sold in the United States in 1929 by the Colombosians, whose family business later became "Colombo Yogurt". The yogurt produced by the Colombosians was prepared from a traditional Armenian ferment matsun. The company’s sales increased dramatically in the 1960s due to the increased awareness of the health benefits of yogurt. Once only a family business of Armenian immigrants, “Colombo & Sons Creamery” has grown into a world-renowned product, being a leading brand in the USA for 75 years.

At first sight khash may be perceived as a usual meal, however it is very special both in preparation process (gathering friends and family members together, spending all night long just to make the dish done) and tasting part – spreading crispy lavash all round the clay plate and very often using only hands and small pieces of dried lavash instead of spoon so as to feel its real flavor...🥣

На первый взгляд хаш может показаться обычным блюдом, однако оно особенное как в процессе приготовления (собирая друзей и членов семьи вместе, тратя всю ночь на готовку блюда), так и в «ритуале» дегустации - измельчая хрустящий лаваш в глиняную тарелку
и очень часто используя лишь руки и свежий лаваш вместо ложки, чтобы прочувствовать настоящий аромат блюда...🥘
