👇🏼 «Խաչմերուկներ» փառատոնի լավ ընկեր Արծվի Բախչինյանի հարցազրույցը փառատոնի այս տարվա հատուկ հյուր Կառմելլա Ցեպկոլենկոյի հետ

Ուկրաինացի կոմպոզիտոր Կառմելլա Ցեպկոլենկոն վաղուց կապեր ունի հայ երաժշտական աշխարհի հետ։ Այս տարվա փառատոնի ընթացքում հնչեց նրա` հատուկ այս առիթի համար գրված և վեց գործիքի համար նախատեսված «Collisions» ստեղծագործությունը։ Ցեպկոլենկոյի արվեստում հաճախ են հնչում Հայոց ցեղասպանության և հայկական ինքնության թեմաները։

1995 թ.-ին Օդեսա քաղաքում Կառմելլան հիմնադրել է նոր երաժշտության «Երկու օր և երկու գիշեր» ամենամյա փառատոնը, որը մինչ օրս բեմ է հանդիսացել 1 264 ուկրաինացի և այլազգի կոմպոզիտորների մոտ 2 500 գործերի ավելի քան 2 700 կատարումների համար։

🇺🇸 An interview by the "Crossroads" festival’s good friend Artsvi Bakhchinyan with this year’s special guest, Karmella Tsepkolenko.

Ukrainian composer Karmella Tsepkolenko has long-standing ties with the Armenian music world. During this year’s festival, her piece "Collisions," written especially for the occasion and scored for six instruments, was performed. Themes of the Armenian Genocide and Armenian identity often resonate in Tsepkolenko’s work.

In 1995, she founded the annual “Two Days and Two Nights of New Music” festival in Odesa, which to this day has served as a stage for over 2,700 performances of nearly 2,500 works by 1,264 Ukrainian and international composers.

Այսօր իրականացավ մեր «Խաչմերուկներ․ ժամանակակից երաժշտության օրեր Հայաստանում» միջազգային 8-րդ փառատոնի 1-ին վարպետության դասը։

Դասը վարեց Ուկրաինայում նոր երաժշտության գլխավոր գործիչներից մեկը՝ Ուկրաինայի արվեստի վաստակավոր գործիչ, կոմպոզիտոր, փառատոնի հատուկ հյուր Կառմելլա Ցեպկոլենկոն։

Օդեսայի կոմպոզիտորական դպրոցում կրթություն ստանալուց և Մոսկվայում ասպիրանտուրա ավարտելուց հետո Ցեպկոլենկոն իր ուսումը շարունակել է աշխարհի այլ առաջատար երաժշտական կենտրոններում։ 1995 թվականից մինչ օրս Օդեսայում Ցեպկոլենկոյի ղեկավարությամբ անց է կացվում «Նոր երաժշտության երկու օր և երկու գիշեր» միջազգային փառատոնը։ Կառմելլա Ցեպկոլենկոն ղեկավարում է Նոր երաժշտության Ասոցիացիան, որn Արդի երաժշտության միջազգային միության (ICM) մաս է կազմում։

Կառմելլա Ցեպկոլենկոն 1985 թվականից վարում է կոմպոզիցիայի դասարան։ Նա ստեղծել է ժամանակակից կոմպոզիցիայի դպրոց՝ դասավանդելով բազմաթիվ ուսանողների, այդ թվում՝ ազգային մրցանակների և միջազգային մրցույթների դափնեկիրների:

Իր աշխատանքում նա հենվում է ուկրաինական կոմպոզիտորական դպրոցի նվաճումների և եվրոպական լավագույն զարգացումների վրա։ Ուսուցման մեջ ակտիվորեն կիրառում է սեփական մեթոդը՝ «Երաժշտական նյութի սցենարային մշակում»։

Կոմպոզիտոր-դաշնակահար Ցեպկոլենկոն նաև մանկավարժական գիտությունների թեկնածու է․ Մոսկվայում 1990 թ․-ին նա պաշտպանել է «Կոմպոզիցիայի դասարանում ուսումնական աշխատանքի ձևերի և մեթոդների կատարելագործում. երաժշտական նյութի «սցենարային» մշակման խնդրի շուրջ» ատենախոսությունը։

Ցեպկոլենկոն վարպետության դասեր է անցկացնում աշխարհի տարբեր ուսումնական հաստատություններում։

🇺🇸 Today, the 1st masterclass of the 8th edition of our international festival "Crossroads: Contemporary Music Days in Armenia" took place.

The session was led by one of the leading figures in Ukrainian contemporary music — Honored Artist of Ukraine and special guest of the festival, composer Karmella Tsepkolenko.

After studying at the Odessa School of Composition and completing postgraduate studies in Moscow, Tsepkolenko continued her education at other major music centers around the world. Since 1995, she has served as the artistic director of the international festival 'Two Days and Two Nights of New Music' in Odessa. Tsepkolenko also heads the Association for New Music, which is part of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ICM).

Since 1985, Karmella Tsepkolenko has been teaching composition. She has established a school of contemporary composition, mentoring numerous students, including national awardees and winners of international competitions.

Her work is rooted in the achievements of the Ukrainian school of composition and the best of European developments. In her teaching, she actively applies her own method: Scenario-Based Development of Musical Material.

Tsepkolenko, a composer and pianist, is also a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. She defended her dissertation in Moscow in 1990 on the topic 'Improving Forms and Methods of Educational Work in the Composition Class: On the Problem of Scenario-Based Development of Musical Material.'

Tsepkolenko's masterclasses are held at various educational institutions around the world.

🎼 Դե ինչ, ‎«Խաչմերուկներ․ ժամանակակից երաժշտության օրեր Հայաստանում» փառատոնը վերադառնում է նոր ծրագրով։

Մայիսի 27-ին տեղի կունենա 1-ին համերգը, որին ելույթ կունենա փառատոնի ռեզիդենտ «Ասոնանս» անսամբլը։

Համերգային ծրագրում կհնչեն Տիգրան Մանսուրյանի, Կարմելլա Ցեպկոլենկոյի (փառատոնի հրավիրյալ կոմպոզիտոր, Ուկրաինա), Ջուլիանո Բրակկիի, Արամ Հովհաննիսյանի, Ռուբեն Անտոնյանի և Դյորդ Կուրտագի ստեղծագործությունները։

Համերգին կհնչի նաև Ցեպկոլենկոյի՝ փառատոնի պատվերով և «Ernst von Siemens» երաժշտական հիմնադրամի ֆինանսավորմամբ ստեղծված կոմպոզիցիայի համաշխարհային պրեմիերան։

🇺🇸 The “Crossroads: Contemporary Music Days in Armenia” festival returns with a new program.

The first concert will take place on May 27 and will feature a performance by the festival’s resident ensemble, Assonance.

The program will include works by Tigran Mansurian, Karmella Tsepkolenko (guest composer of the festival, Ukraine), Giuliano Bracci, Aram Hovhannisyan, Ruben Antonyan, and György Kurtág.

The concert will also feature the world premiere of a composition by Tsepkolenko, commissioned by the festival and supported by the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung.

🇺🇸 👇 Crossroads / Contemporary Music Days in Armenia փառատոնը, որն այս տարի անցկացնելու ենք 8-րդ անգամ, դարձել է Հայաստանում առաջին նախաձեռնությունը, որն արժանացել է ակադեմիական երաժշտության ամենահեղինակավոր «Ernst Von Siemens Musikstiftung» (Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung) ֆոնդի խիստ մրցակցային մրցանակին: Մեր խորին շնորհակալությունն ենք հայտնում ֆոնդին այսպիսի բարձր և պարտավորեցնող գնահատականի համար։

Սա պատմական իրադարձություն է Հայաստանի մշակութային և հատկապես երաժշտական ասպարեզում։

The "Crossroads: Contemporary Music Days in Armenia" festival, which we are organizing for the 8th time this year, has become the first initiative in Armenia to be awarded the highly competitive prize of the prestigious "Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung" foundation for academic music. We extend our deepest gratitude to the foundation for this high and obliging recognition.

This is a historic event for Armenia’s cultural scene, especially in the field of music.
