Armenia’s parliament passed legislative amendments in the second reading on July 3 that will enable the Public Services Regulatory Commission to initiate proceedings against energy sector operators on violations, including those committed prior to the law’s enactment. Effectively, the amendments allow the regulator to make changes in the management structure or prompt nationalization to protect consumers.
