My beloved Georgians, dear people,
I have felt the happiness of communicating with you and getting to know you closely over the past three unforgettable days, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the warmth and warm welcome with which you have rewarded me and my book. It is a great honor and pride for me that a Georgian translation of my novel exists and that it has reached the hearts of Georgian readers. Special thanks to the “Sulakauri” publishing house, its director Tina, and, of course, Luka. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the editor of my novel – Nino.
Today, when our times are hard, filled with blood and, yes, misfortune, it often seems to us as if the language of literature, words, is gradually losing its meaning, even if it continues to exist. But you have proven me otherwise, for which I am infinitely grateful. I wish the Tbilisi International Literary Festival to have a long life and to overcome the difficulties it has encountered with dignity – together with those people who tirelessly strive for light and freedom. I wish that every year a book by a new author from Georgia will be published in Armenia, and a book by a new, talented writer from Armenia will be presented at your important festival and before the Georgian reader.
I wish strength and endurance to our most valuable translator, Asya Darbiniani, to continue her extremely valuable work, without which the Georgian and Armenian literary ties would not have been strengthened and strengthened in recent years.
During the presentation of my novel, the eyes of Eka, Tamta, Mishiko, Iva, Natasha, Luka, Davit, S***a, Natia, Tamuna, Nino added strength and inspiration to me.

უკანასკნელი სამი დაუვიწყარი დღის განმავლობაში თქვენთან ურთიერთობითა და ახლოს გაცნობით ბედნიერება ვიგრძენი და მინდა გულწრფელი მადლობა გადაგიხადოთ იმ სითბოსა და გულთბილი მიღებისთვის, რომლითაც მე და ჩემი წიგნი დაგვაჯილდოვეთ. ჩემთვის დიდი პატივი და სიამაყეა, ჩემი რომანის ქართული თარგმანის არსებობა და ქართველი მკითხველის გულთან მისვლა. განსაკუთრებული მადლობა „სულაკაურის“ გამომცემლობას, მის დირექტორ თინას, და, რა თქმა უნდა, ლუკას. გულითადი მადლობა მინდა გადავუხადო ჩემი რომანის რედაქტორს – ნინოს.
დღეს, როცა ჩვენი დროება მძიმე, სისხლითა და, დიახ, უბედურებითაა აღსავსე, ხშირად გვეჩვენება, თითქოს ლიტერატურის ენა, სიტყვები თანდათან კარგავს მნიშვნელობას, თუნდაც არსებობას განაგრძობდეს. მაგრამ თქვენ საწინააღმდეგო დამიმტკიცეთ, რისთვისაც უსაზღვროდ მადლიერი ვარ. მსურს, თბილისის საერთაშორისო ლიტერატურულ ფესტივალს ხანგრძლივი სიცოცხლე ჰქონდეს და ღირსეულად გადალახოს ის სირთულეები, რომელშიც აღმოჩნდა – იმ ადამიანებთან ერთად, ვინც დაუღალავად მიისწრაფვის სინათლისა და თავისუფლებისკენ. მინდა, ყოველ წელს საქართველოდან ახალი ავტორის წიგნი გამოიცეს სომხეთში, ხოლო სომხეთიდან – ახალი, ნიჭიერი მწერლის წიგნი წარდგეს თქვენს მნიშვნელოვან ფესტივალზე და ქართველი მკითხველის წინაშე.
ძალასა და გამძლეობას ვუსურვებ ჩვენს უძვირფასეს მთარგმნელს, ასია დარბინიანს, რათა განაგრძოს თავისი უაღრესად ფასეული საქმე, რომლის გარეშე ბოლო წლებში ქართული და სომხური ლიტერატურული კავშირები ვერ გაძლიერდებოდა და ვერ განმტკიცდებოდა.
ჩემი რომანის პრეზენტაციის დროს ძალასა და შთაგონებას მმატებდნენ ეკას, თამთას, მიშიკოს, ივას, ნატაშას, ლუკას, დავითის, შოთას, ნათიას, თამუნას, ნინოს თვალები.
სიყვარულით გეხვევით ყველას, ძალიან მიყვარხართ!
