COLBY COVINGTON JUST CALLED CARLOS PRATES THE EASIEST FIGHT FOR ISLAM MAKHACHEV – HERE’S WHY

Colby Covington is never one to hold back, and his latest take on the UFC welterweight title picture is no exception. Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Covington didn’t mince words about Carlos Prates, the rising Brazilian contender eyeing a shot at Islam Makhachev. According to Colby, Prates is nothing more than a “straight striker” with zero answers for Makhachev’s grappling. He even predicted the exact submission: “Kimura or a head-and-arm choke.” That’s a bold claim, especially considering Prates’ knockout power. But Covington also raised doubts about Michael Morales, another undefeated welterweight, saying we haven’t seen enough of his takedown defense in high-level fights. With Makhachev potentially fighting before Ramadan, the stakes couldn’t be higher. But what nobody’s talking about is the one detail that could flip this entire matchup on its head…

BRITAIN'S BOND MARKET IS ABOUT TO FORCE THE GOVERNMENT'S HAND – AND IT WON'T BE PRETTY

Fifty years ago, Denis Healey had to rush back from Heathrow as sterling collapsed. Now, his namesake faces a Budget with fiscal headroom cut in half, and bond yields screaming past 6%. The author, a City veteran of 25 years, says a bond crisis isn't just likely – it's necessary to break the political deadlock. Because politicians won't reform until the market makes them. But what happens when the bond market finally says 'enough'? The consequences will hit every mortgage, every business, and every household. And the scariest part? We're already borrowing just to pay the interest on what we owe. The full story reveals how we got here, and what comes next…

MAX VERSTAPPEN JUST SAID WHAT EVERYONE WAS THINKING ABOUT CHRISTIAN HORNER

Max Verstappen didn’t hold back when asked about life after Christian Horner. In a rare moment of honesty, the four-time champ admitted the Red Bull garage is way less stressful now that Horner’s gone. He even said he doesn’t miss the constant tension between people – and honestly, who would? But here’s the kicker: Verstappen also left the door open for Horner’s return, saying he did a good job and could come back if the right opportunity pops up. So is this a subtle dig or just Max being real? The full interview gets even juicier… you won’t believe what he said about the team’s new vibe.
This interview is wild – Max basically confirms what everyone suspected. Full video's here if you're curious: https://geni.us/CNN-Reports

THE BILLS ARE DEAD LAST IN THIS STAT – AND IT JUST COST THEM A HUGE GAME

The Buffalo Bills just lost a heartbreaker to the Patriots, and the reason might surprise you. It wasn't Josh Allen's arm or the defense – it was a two-point conversion that went horribly wrong. Allen missed a wide-open Dalton Kincaid and instead forced a pass into double coverage. But here's the kicker: this isn't a one-time fluke. The Bills have been historically bad at two-point conversions, converting just 2 of their last 11 tries. That's a success rate of 18%, which is dead last in the NFL. In a league where every point matters, this weakness could derail their entire season. But what nobody knew was just how deep this problem runs…

MAGIC BLEW A 3-1 LEAD… NOW THEY'RE BETTING EVERYTHING ON A ROOKIE HEAD COACH

The Orlando Magic haven't won a playoff series since 2010, but they were one game away three different times last spring. So they fired their coach and handed the keys to Sean Sweeney, a first-timer who's never run a team. He's been an assistant on two Finals runs, but can he actually get this group over the hump? The East is a bloodbath — just three games separated the 5-seed from the 10-seed last year. And with a roster full of question marks, one wrong matchup could send them right back to the lottery. But what nobody's saying out loud is why the front office really believes Sweeney is the guy…

The full story is wilder than you think…

BRAVES' LAST-MINUTE LINEUP SHAKEUP: ACUÑA'S KNEE FORCES MAJOR CHANGE FOR GAME 3

Just when you thought the Braves were set for Game 3, Ronald Acuña Jr.'s knee soreness throws a wrench into the plans. The star outfielder was originally slated to play right field, but now he's been moved to DH, and Sean Murphy is out of the lineup entirely. Lane Thomas steps in to cover right field. This comes after Acuña slid in Game 2 and aggravated a knee that's been bothering him for months. With the series tied 1-1, every move counts. But what nobody knew was how much this injury could impact Acuña's performance at the plate... and the Braves' chances of taking the lead. The truth behind this lineup change will surprise you.
This lineup change is huge for the Braves! Acuña's knee is clearly a bigger issue than they're letting on. Full video's here if you're curious: https://geni.us/CBSNews-Now

LANE JOHNSON RETIRES AFTER WEEK 4 ABSENCE – HIS REASON LEFT THE NFL WORLD STUNNED

Lane Johnson just walked away from the NFL – and nobody saw it coming. The Eagles' six-time Pro Bowl tackle missed Week 4 for 'personal reasons,' then two days later, he announced his immediate retirement. In his statement, Johnson said it was 'critical' to focus on his mental health. That's a guy who's been a rock for Philadelphia since 2013 – two Super Bowls, five All-Pro nods, a surefire Hall of Famer. But what made him step away right now? The full story behind his decision might surprise you…
