Congolese Music: Who's the Best?
There is a difference between big and best! Just like Zidane is big but Messi is the best. To be big is how good you are. To be the best is how much you have achieved. So, please don't lie to yourself just to please yourself. In Congo we are killing the culture because we become so metally twisted and it is destroying all generations. Congolese music, most of singers are big in terms of career, the biggest is Koffi olomide, but he is not the best of his generation, Papa Wemba is. Is Ferre big? Of course he is. As it was said, "better than Blaise Bula," but Ferre is certainly not the best of his generation, Fally is. Is Farre bigger than Fally, again certainly not. I recently read about both of them. Fally is bigger than Ferre in terms of both works and achievements. Please read about these things and please don't just be sentimental. Ferre should work hard because he is really good. Ferre is an excellent singer, but he needs to do more.
