Next week on Inspire Campfire, we’re heading into the warm ocean waters of Kona, Hawaii with Martina Wing, founder of Manta Ray Advocates.

Martina’s story begins with grief, a trip to Hawaii, and one unforgettable night dive with manta rays.

That moment changed the direction of her life.

Since then, she has built a purpose-driven business helping people experience manta rays in a safe, respectful, and deeply meaningful way.

Tune in next week for a conversation about awe, healing, purpose, and what can happen when the natural world calls you into something new.

She pitched her CEO the idea of working remotely from 12 countries in 12 months, and he said yes. Sarah Aviram spent an entire year living and working across the globe, came home the week the world shut down, and turned the whole experience into two books, a TEDx talk with 800,000 views, and a business she had always dreamed of building. Her story is proof that asking boldly, following your inner compass, and going for it even when everyone doubts you can genuinely change the entire trajectory of your life. If you have been waiting for a sign, this is it.

“Instead of asking what’s next, maybe I should start asking myself what’s worth returning to?” — Sarah Aviram

Sarah arrived at this realization not during a dramatic adventure, but during a quiet month in Split, Croatia, watching the sunset over the Adriatic Sea each evening at six o’clock. After months of chasing novelty across the globe, she discovered that ritual, repetition, and presence can be just as alive and meaningful as the next great experience. It is a gentle but powerful reframe that challenges the way so many of us move through our lives. Hear the full reflection in this week’s episode of Inspire Campfire.

‼️ New Episode Out Now ‼️

This week, we’re joined by Sarah Aviram. She’s a #1 bestselling author, Fortune 500 HR leader, and TEDx speaker with over 800,000 views.

Her story starts with a love for exploring. Her parents raised her to stay curious, experience new cultures, and ask bold questions.

That mindset led to one of the boldest career moves we’ve heard on this show.

Sarah convinced her CEO to let her work remotely from 12 countries in 12 months. It all started with one pitch… and two words that changed everything: “Do it.”

What followed was a year across South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. She returned home just as the world shut down in March 2020.

That experience led her to start a business, write two books, and give a TEDx talk that’s reached hundreds of thousands.

In this episode, we talk about:
• Turning your dream into something bigger than you
• The truth that follows you wherever you go
• Slowing down in a fast-moving life
• Trusting your gut, even when others don’t get it

If you’ve got a dream sitting on the shelf, this might be your nudge.

In this episode, Sarah shares the pitch that changed everything, the unexpected emotional lessons she discovered along the way, and why the most important journey you will ever take is the one that leads you back to yourself.

Lootie is the first to say her world run wasn’t about being exceptional. It was about being willing.

She believes every single person carries a version of this journey inside them, whether it’s climbing Everest, launching a company, or simply becoming the person they’ve always wanted to be, and that the path there is less about bravery and more about slowly, deliberately peeling away the layers of fear that stand between you and the life you want.

Listen to the full episode on Inspire Campfire and find out what your world run might look like.

‼️ New Episode Out Now ‼️
This week on Inspire Campfire, we’re sharing a conversation with Marie “Lootie” Leautey, a French-born, world-traveling former CFO who became only the seventh person in history to run around the entire globe, and the fastest woman to ever do it. But here’s the thing about Lootie’s story that gets us every time: she was a pack-a-day smoker at 26 who couldn’t run 500 meters without stopping. That moment of humiliation became the spark that changed everything.

What followed was a decade of building, training, and dreaming, until one day, almost absentmindedly, she sketched a little drawing in her notebook of a woman running around a globe. And she thought, what a brilliant idea. Two and a half years, four continents, 700 consecutive marathons, zero injuries, and one global pandemic later, she crossed her finish line with fireworks exploding silently in her heart.

In this episode, Lootie shares her philosophy of “accidental performance,” how she stayed injury-free by treating her body like a machine she had to understand completely, what she discovered about human kindness in the remotest parts of Montana and the Andes, and why she believes the key to conquering fear is to stop looking at the fear altogether and start looking directly at your dream.

In case you missed it…

On the latest episode, I shared the story of an unforgettable daddy-daughter trek through Patagonia with my daughter, Leilan.

We headed to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile to hike the famous W Trek, ready for big views, strong winds, and the kind of challenge that pushes you out of your comfort zone.

What we didn’t expect was how much of the trip would be shaped by the people we met along the way.

On the trail, we crossed paths with Tisca Chandaria from London and Natalia Poskrebysheva from Amsterdam.

What started as simple trail conversations grew into real friendship as we shared campsites, stories, laughs, and the highs and lows of the journey together.

In a place as wild and unpredictable as Patagonia, those connections became one of the most memorable parts of the experience.

In this episode, we look back on the beauty and difficulty of the W Trek, the lessons that come from taking on something hard, and the way adventure can bring people together across backgrounds and borders.

It’s a conversation about resilience, friendship, and the unexpected gifts that meet us when we choose to step into the unknown.

“You just gotta go out and do it, and you will never regret going out and just doing something.”
— Leilan Wurtzbacher

Leilan’s words capture the heart of this episode: sometimes the hardest part of adventure is simply saying yes. Patagonia wasn’t easy—there were tough miles, wild weather, and plenty of unknowns—but it became the kind of experience that leaves a mark for life. Her reminder is simple and true: the risk of going is usually far smaller than the regret of staying back.

Listen to this episode for a powerful conversation about courage, challenge, friendship, and what can happen when you decide to just go do the thing that’s been calling you.

Next week, I’m sharing an unforgettable daddy-daughter adventure to Patagonia with my daughter, Leilan. We traveled to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile to hike the famous W Trek, expecting breathtaking scenery, fierce weather, and a real physical challenge. We found all of that—but we also discovered that some of the most meaningful parts of the journey had nothing to do with the miles we covered.

Along the way, we met fellow hikers Tisca Chandaria from London and Natalia Poskrebysheva from Amsterdam. What began as chance encounters on the trail quickly turned into genuine friendship as we shared meals, stories, laughter, and the ups and downs of life in Patagonia. In a place where everyone is pushed by the wind, the distance, and the unpredictability of each day, strangers can become friends faster than you’d expect.

In this episode, we reflect on the beauty and difficulty of Patagonia, the lessons that come from doing hard things, and the way adventure has a surprising way of bringing people together. Join us for a conversation about resilience, connection, and the kind of friendships that can only be formed when you step out of your routine and into the unknown.
