Today I had my semi-annual cardiology appointment at to get my echocardiogram and holter test done. If caught early, DCM (which Dobermans are predisposed to) can be managed with medication and years added to your pet’s life.
Also, funny story - the vet told my human that I was a very good boy … as long as they didn’t stop petting me. If they stopped I unleashed my best and loudest dober-whine. So I basically emotionally manipulated them into non-stop pets. Needy? Yes. Best ear scratches? Also yes. 😂
