omes a great challenge, mostly in communication matters. That’s exactly why is so beautiful, the experience so important and the final story so rich. It’s not so much of understanding or listening but to feel; that’s the real meaning of compassion: to feel what other people is feeling. Through our tools –photography and literature- we aim to raise their voices. When we find those life stories, testimonies which open doors to thousands of stories, we commit ourselves to find a way to tell their reality: when words aren’t enough, images speak and transmit. Somos viajeros. Nuestro motor es la curiosidad, saber qué pasa en los lugares escondidos del mundo, escuchar las voces mudas de quienes han sido olvidados. Escépticos por naturaleza, no nos basta un punto de vista de afuera ni nos alcanza leer en algún lugar. Tenemos que verlo, tenemos que estar ahí, tenemos que saber la verdad; aunque sea una palabra gastada en la que muchos ya ni creen, nosotros seguimos soñando. Viajar a pie por lugares que no existen en los mapas se convierte en un gran desafío, sobretodo a la hora de comunicarnos. Esto también forma parte de la belleza, de la experiencia y de la historia final. Más que entender o escuchar, es descifrar pero sobretodo sentir. Y ahí es donde entra el verdadero significado de la palabra compasión: sentir lo que el otro está sintiendo. A través de nuestras herramientas –fotografía y literatura- buscamos expresar lo inexpresable. Cuando encontramos esas historias de vidas, testimonios que abren puertas a miles de historias, asumimos un compromiso para encontrar la forma de contar su realidad: cuando las palabras faltan, las imágenes hablan y transmiten.
