¡Hoy recordamos un proyecto especial que unió a artistas y temas en torno a La Paz. En 2021, creamos un disco antibelicista inspirado en las islas de la Patagonia, en colaboración con . Los talentosos artistas, Mark Slater (), un músico inglés, y Gabriel Lococo (.oficial), argentino, se unieron para dar vida a este proyecto, que buscaba ayudar a los afectados por los fuegos forestales en la Patagonia a través de .

MAÑANA se lanza un gran disco. "Jazz en Pandemia" del musico santafecino, Nesti Schmidt!

Néstor Ignacio Schmidt Catalano, conocido artísticamente como Nesti Schmidt, es un multifacético músico argentino con una trayectoria diversa y apasionante. Nacido el 9 de enero de 1962 en San Jerónimo Norte, Provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina, su historia musical comenzó a una temprana edad.

A los seis años, inició su viaje musical estudiando guitarra en el Instituto Artístico Musical (I.A.M), bajo la tutela del Maestro Héctor Ayala, reconocido por sus métodos de enseñanza de guitarra. Su pasión por la música lo llevó a formar parte del grupo infantil "Los Nagiopi" a los 11 años, y desde entonces, su camino en la música se expandió y se diversificó.

A los 13 años, con su grupo de música tropical, ganó el festival Estudiantina, lo que llamó la atención del experimentado músico Don Reynaldo "Pancho" Yost, quien lo reclutó como cantante para su grupo. Demostrando su versatilidad, Nesti asumió el desafío de tocar la guitarra cuando el guitarrista original dejó el grupo, marcando así el comienzo de una carrera musical prolífica y ecléctica.

Durante su adolescencia, combinó sus estudios de música clásica y folklore con su pasión por el rock y el pop, tocando en diversos grupos y bandas locales. Sin embargo, su camino dio un giro inesperado cuando decidió seguir su otra pasión, la bioquímica. Aunque comenzó sus estudios universitarios en este campo, las circunstancias políticas de la época y su encuentro con el mundo de la música lo llevaron por un camino diferente.

En su viaje musical, Nesti ha colaborado con destacados músicos y ha participado en eventos de renombre, como el Festival de la Canción Navideña y el Festival de la Canción Juvenil, donde obtuvo reconocimiento por su talento y creatividad. Además, tuvo la oportunidad de perfeccionar su arte en las Clínicas de la Berklee College of Music Master of Guitar, impartidas por el renombrado guitarrista John Petrucci.

A lo largo de los años, Nesti ha explorado una amplia gama de géneros musicales, desde el tango hasta el jazz, dejando su huella en la escena musical argentina. Su pasión por la música lo ha llevado a enfrentar desafíos y adversidades, pero su dedicación y determinación nunca han menguado.

Actualmente, Nesti Schmidt continúa su viaje musical, explorando nuevos horizontes y compartiendo su talento con el mundo. Su último proyecto, "JAZZ EN PANDEMIA", es un homenaje a los grandes maestros del jazz argentino y refleja su perseverancia y creatividad incluso en tiempos difíciles. El mismo estara disponible el 12 de Abril del 2024 en plataformas digitales a través de Make Noise Not War Records (Los Angeles, CA).
