My first attempt at Landscaping for the Plant for Peace ✌️ 🌱 project where we build a community garden to empower, encourage, inspire, motivate others. Here I planted a Texas sage in the tire and 4 blue flax around it.

This projects means a lot having spent a month in India learning about community base approaches in maintaining sustainable livelihoods. Having played a role in seeing it done in Trinidad. It’s a small start but it’s a start

So many people to thank. But most of all the community for taking the step in sustaining their own livelihoods through AgriCoolture. Volunteerism is alive among the Youth. If we don't do the work then who will. "Plant for Peace"
The volunteers worked with members of the community to transform an under-utilized space next to the Robert Greening playground in Gonzales from a lot of land to a lot of food through the planting of crops. These gardens will provide an alternative and viable source of new income for participating members of the community and pioneer the start of an Agri-Preneurship movement which they are very excited about.
