Bountiful Life

Bountiful Life 🌿 Welcome to our bountiful space for slow travellers, nature seekers, and mindful explorers!
🌍 Wander slowly. Live fully. Welcome!

To me yoga isn’t a form of physical exercise, this is just a side effect of the practice. As human beings we all have this tendency to identify ourselves with the external aspects of our lives. We label and give ourselves titles, but who we really are goes beyond that. Yoga is truly about reaching deeper into our being. It is about breaking free from the prison of thought. When our mind is active,

we are either thinking about something that happened in the past or we are anticipating something in the future. That’s why I created this group/channel, so that this essential experience of being present and in touch with true self, is available to everyone.

47 today.
A year that asked everything of me and returned more than I imagined.
Proof that something beautiful can grow from the hardest soil.

✹ Beyond beaches and sunsets, travel has a way of holding up a mirror. It shows us how we act, what we value, and who we are when routines fall away. This piece isn’t about destinations, but about the truths we uncover when we step into the unfamiliar.

Street photography was never really my thing — until Kuala Lumpur. Between weathered walls, neon towers, painted alleys, and city views from above, I’ve found myself enjoying the rhythm of urban storytelling through my lens.

Some goodbyes feel heavier than others — even when you’re chasing a dream.
Leaving Mauritius was harder than I expected.
It had become our home, our anchor.
And the idea of jumping into the unknown — this time through Asia — felt overwhelming.

Not just because of the distance, but because of everything I’d read and feared: the chaos, the intensity, the unknown pace of it all.
We’re starting with three months in Malaysia.
For Will, it’s a dream come true.
For me, it felt like reverence
 mixed with fear.
But Kuala Lumpur has surprised me.

This city has welcomed us with warmth, ease, and energy.
The friendliness, the unexpected beauty, the way nature and architecture sit side by side — it’s softened my hesitation.
And what once felt daunting
has become something I now look forward to.

Somehow, this city has started to feel like a friend.
I’ll be sharing the good, the bad, and the honest moments from our time here in this new chapter — through photos, stories, and behind-the-scenes glimpses.

This is travel notes & feelings — my way of showing what travel really feels like.

We spent the weekend on the east coast — just the two of us, chasing quiet.

Belle Mare is known for its big hotels and dreamy beach, but we stayed in a sweet little Airbnb in Trou d’Eau Douce instead. 100€ for two nights, and surrounded by local restaurants, fishing boats, and calm. No schedule, no buffet lines. Just slow mornings and the sea.

It’s only a 9-minute drive to Belle Mare, so we set off early and arrived just after sunrise. For a while, it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves — long stretches of sand, soft light, and no one else in sight.

If you’re ever coming from the south, take the coastal road. It’s slower, yes, but beautiful in a way that makes you forget you’re in a hurry.

Sometimes the best parts of travel aren’t the “must-sees” or the fancy stays. It’s a moment — just one — that feels entirely yours.

This was one of them.
