Some goodbyes feel heavier than others â even when youâre chasing a dream.
Leaving Mauritius was harder than I expected.
It had become our home, our anchor.
And the idea of jumping into the unknown â this time through Asia â felt overwhelming.
Not just because of the distance, but because of everything Iâd read and feared: the chaos, the intensity, the unknown pace of it all.
Weâre starting with three months in Malaysia.
For Will, itâs a dream come true.
For me, it felt like reverence⊠mixed with fear.
But Kuala Lumpur has surprised me.
This city has welcomed us with warmth, ease, and energy.
The friendliness, the unexpected beauty, the way nature and architecture sit side by side â itâs softened my hesitation.
And what once felt daunting⊠has become something I now look forward to.
Somehow, this city has started to feel like a friend.
Iâll be sharing the good, the bad, and the honest moments from our time here in this new chapter â through photos, stories, and behind-the-scenes glimpses.
This is travel notes & feelings â my way of showing what travel really feels like.
