Ich organisiere wieder das Bluesfestival auf der Burgruine Falkenstein! Um das Publik zu machen & damit so viele Leute wie möglich davon erfahren, dass es dieses Festival gibt, brauche ich DEINE Hilfe!

Wir haben ein wirklich sehr feines LineUP auf die Füße gestellt, zusätzlich wird auch die erste Austrian Blues Challenge ausgetragen! Was das genau ist & warum es organisiert wird, findest du auch auf der Webseite.

Zum gesamten Event selbst, und was du wissen solltest:

Vom 4. bis 6. Juli 2025 verwandelt sich die idyllische Burgruine Falkenstein im nördlichen Weinviertel in ein wahres Mekka für Blues-Fans und Musikliebhaber aller Art. Inmitten der malerischen Ruinenkulisse erwartet die Besucher ein unvergessliches Festivalerlebnis mit namhaften Künstlern wie Jörg Danielsen & Vienna Blues Association feat. Federico Verteramo & Anita Fabiani, Hokum Pokum, The Insta Mentals, Vanesa Harbek Band und vielen mehr.

Ein Highlight des Festivals ist die erste Austrian Blues Challenge, bei der der Gewinner 2026 Österreich bei der European Blues Challenge vertreten wird. Für noch mehr musikalische Vielfalt sorgen Workshops zu Schlagzeug, Gitarre, Bass, Songwriting und sogar Bluestanz – ideal für alle, die mehr über die Kunst des Blues erfahren möchten.

Genießen Sie nicht nur die außergewöhnliche Musik, sondern auch das fantastische Ambiente, das die Burgruine Falkenstein und das nördliche Weinviertel bieten. Campingmöglichkeiten am Fuße der Ruine und eine Blues Jam Session am Sonntag lassen die Herzen der Besucher höher schlagen.

🌟 In Memory of Alex Munkás 🌟

It was through the late Hansi Dujmic that I met Alex. Alex was not just a fantastic drummer but also an incredible sound engineer. He was instrumental in shaping the Wolf-Sound in the '80s and '90s. We owe many studio recordings (including the 120870-CD Magic Slim) and live recordings (also Magic Slim and The Teardrops - 120864 and 120895) to his talent and dedication.

With heavy hearts, we share that Alex Munkás left us unexpectedly at the age of 70 on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, after a fulfilling life. His presence and contributions touched many, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Alex. Your legacy and the memories we've shared will live on forever. 🌹🕊️
