2024 tested me in ways I never imagined. Amongst other challenges a hip surgery earlier this year was a big hurdle, and recovery is still a work in progress. But moments like these make it all worth it—I’m finally back in the water!

It’s not quite the big waves I dream about yet, but riding on a big board again feels like a victory. Every paddle out is a reminder of resilience and determination. The journey back to full strength isn’t over, but I’m embracing every step.

The ocean teaches patience, and I’m here for the ride. 🌊

Meet .a_a —the doctor who doesn’t just save lives in the hospital, but also brought so much light and laughter on our last surf trip. As an anesthetist, his talent in medicine is unmatched, but it’s his big heart and passion for people that make him an incredible friend. On our last trip to the Maldives, he kept the crew alive in more ways than one. Always a pleasure to have warm-hearted guy along, both in life and in the water. There is something about the calm before a perfect wave... 🌊 this small, hidden corner of the world remains untouched and pure. For years, I’ve chased moments like these—empty surf spots, peaceful horizons, and endless exploration.
These are the places that inspire my photography and drive my adventures. While my body takes its time to heal, the memories of these journeys keep me grounded and hopeful. The ocean is always there, waiting for us to return. 🌊

🌊✨ One of my favorite photos of this year — a moment frozen beneath the surface.

Capturing the surfer’s fins as they cut through the water so close, it feels like you can almost touch them. There’s something magical about the underwater world, where time slows and every movement becomes poetry.

Surfing is more than a sport; it’s a dance with nature. Every wave, every ride is unique. You never really know what awaits, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s pure freedom, passion, and the humbling reminder that we’re just visitors in the vast ocean. This photo reminds me that every second in the water is a gift.
