The 13th International Chamber Music Competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music” will take place in February 2028

International Competition "Franz Schubert and Modern Music" (FS&MM) is held at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG) in the divisions "Duo for Voice and Piano (Lied)", "Trio for Piano, Violin and Violoncello".

We’re pleased to welcome the Pre Jury for the Composition Competition 2027—comprising distinguished KUG professors and a professor emeritus. ✨🎶

What happens next:
👉The Pre Jury reviews all submissions and prepares a pre selection.
👉The Main Jury receives all works plus the pre selected list.
👉Final decisions will be made by the end of July 2027.
👉Results will be communicated to all applicants afterward.
