i sold these slab pieces! it was so beautiful in person the yellow like melted into the mix! the pink was still pretty distinct 🥰

EXPERIMENT + RESULTS AT THE END
p2 powder mixture + loose chalk + baby powder (cornstarch based) + a whole [small] bottle of fabric softener + [VARYING AMOUNTS OF] baby oil = hydrophobic 🫣🫣🫣

in this video we explore a theory i have about hydrophobic reforms! i have been trying the fabric softener method forever & although its decent it just doesnt fully do the job for me and give me the results im looking for! but i know oil repels water & i had to test it out!!!

NO GLITTER - fabric softener only
JUST GLITTER - fabric softener + first batch of baby oil
GLITTER + GREEN - fabric softener + second batch of baby oil
GLITTER + ORANGE - fabric softener + third batch of baby oil
GLITTER + PINK - fabric softener + sand + “fourth” batch of baby oil

*LONG VIDEO*
TALKING, LONG VIDEO AND EXPERIMENT

i made a video crushing Alz ASMR’s homemade chalk “Signature Luxe” in said video i also reformed it and crushed the reform (check out video on Crushin Clouds ) the video was originally posted to IG where a few people asked me if watery paste makes fluffy reforms! i always feel like the short answer is no because i make reforms with watery & thick paste that come out fluffy. its really the mix that determines outcomes. but it got me thinking and made me sit down and do a deep comparison on how water impacts texture!

what were the differences you noticed? was this informative? honestly i dont think paste always has as much impact as it may seem but it depends!!! i definitely enjoyed this experiment!! i will have to test this same concept on my baking soda mix asap!!!
