Shaped by iB – Fitness Meets Club Sound

Vienna’s Shaped by iB isn’t just a fitness studio — it’s a high-end training environment where sound is part of the experience.

We designed and installed a system built around six custom CB-Design 10″ subwoofers, 18 Bowers & Wilkins AM-1 tops, 3 RAM MDi8 amps, and Xilica processing. The result is club sound, tailored for fitness.
From preset modes for group classes to subtle background audio for personal training, every detail is tuned to motivate and inspire.

Greith Haus is one of Styria’s most architecturally striking cultural spaces — and now, it sounds as good as it looks.

In 2023 we installed our first-ever spherical subwoofer installation, suspended from the ceiling with impulse compensation. Together with LD Systems loudspeakers and Lambda Labs TX-3A tops, we created a sound system that works across everything: art, cinema, and performance.

Greith-Haus is more than a venue. It’s a regional cultural platform, and we’re proud to support its vision.

A legendary space in the center of Vienna — and now a sound system to match.

At Bar Campari, we collaborated with Matteo Thun & Partners to create a fully integrated audio solution:

✔ Downstairs: Alcons VR5s (custom finish) for lounge-level listening
✔ Upstairs: Custom-built subwoofers + 24 B&W AM-1 loudspeakers
✔ Full DSP control with Xilica + discreet aesthetics throughout

🛹 Skateboard Club Vienna — Where Sound Meets Community
What makes a good skate space even better?

➡️ Clear speech, good music, and a vibe that works for events, lessons, and downtime.

We created a full sound + acoustic concept for Skateboard Club Vienna, with:
✅ Zoned audio system using LD Systems STINGER G3 speakers & Xilica control
✅ 336 Siléncio ceiling panels to reduce reverb
✅ A strong focus on speech intelligibility — for coaching, chatting, and connecting

The space officially opened (2024) with the Vice Mayor of Vienna Christoph Wiederkehr, highlighting its importance to the local community. A great reminder that better sound belongs in every space — not just clubs or studios.

What starts as “just another acoustic install” can turn into something a little more special — especially when it involves long-time partners like Blautöne Studios.

When they called us with a last-minute request for acoustics in their new editing suites (ran together with Vienna FX) — ahead of a Netflix production — we were already on-site the next day. 🚛🔧

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 -𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑑 ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑓 𝑎 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑔𝑜?

We supported our distributor, partner, and friend Rado Mezek with acoustic measures — including PSI Audio digital active bass absorbers as well as absorber material — at the show which was held at the Austria Centre. Rado is the distributor for Austria of a variety of high-end audio products, including of course Monitor Audio.

Pete Dixon who was representing the Monitor Audio Group is highly knowledgeable in the field of high-end audio, having worked in the audio industry for almost two decades. In our opinion, it was this combination of sound reinforcement and acoustic measures that significantly improved the whole audio experience for visitors.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The yearly gathering of audio professionals expertly coordinated by the High End Society GmbH has moved from its long-time home in Munich to Vienna for next year’s HIGH END. We’re looking forward to welcoming the audio community to the city of Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn as the official acoustic partner for the HIGH END.

Following lots of positive feedback on the room acoustic, we will be supporting exhibitors in 2026 with acoustic measures — measures which include the fantastic AVAAs from PSI Audio. We strongly believe that high-end can only be truly high-end when the acoustic environment is taken into account and properly addressed.

Last month Fabi and Jakob visited Greith Haus, a multi-functional location in Steiermark, St Ulrich, to service the Spherical subwoofers installed in 2024.

This was our first Spherical installation, so it goes without saying that we updated the processing to reflect the know-how we have gained over the last year.

Our audio concept also includes loudspeakers from Lambda Labs LD Systems, and diffuser panels from Artnovion, who has had the chance to listen to the results?

Sound Stories: Dietz Tinhof

I (Pete) was struck by how similar Dietmar, or ‘Dietz,’ is to Wolfgang—a consummate professional, completely obsessed with his job, hobby, and life as an audio engineer.

As we exchanged stories over coffee, I began to realize that Dietz isn’t just your run-of-the-mill audio enthusiast. His long list of collaborations, from the World of Hans Zimmer and Conchita Wurst to Falco, is more than enough for most of us to give him our seal of approval.

Dietz first met Wolfgang even before the days of Pro Performance as Wolfgang was working as an audio engineer himself, and since then their paths have crossed a few times over the years.

As we finished our coffee and entered what felt to me like a spaceship, I started to understand the meaning of ‘perfect’ audio conditions. The studio is completely decoupled from the rest of the building and comes with its own air filtering system—very James Bond villain-esque.

Working for Wolfgang, I’ve had the chance to experience some amazing sound systems, and Dietz’s 3D sound was another one of those moments. I’m by no means an audio expert, but I do have a deep appreciation for great sound, and this certainly was that!

Save the date!

On Wednesday the 23rd of April we will present the fantastic Alcons Audio WR20 stage monitors in the < Grelle Forelle between 4 and 10pm.

From 4 - 6 pm, we will have an open decks session where everyone is welcome to play their favourite tracks (Wolfgang said no mp3s!), drinks and snacks on us.

At 6pm our friends Grätzlsound will hold a community listening session from and for local collectives before we take over again at 8pm for a special talk.

Wolfgang together with the sound engineer Dietz Tinhof will discuss the in-depth process of track production and translating them onto a (club) sound system.

The listening session will then continue with some further opportunities to listen to the loudspeakers. Please let us know if you want to play something yourself.
