His royalness 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘇 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱!
An essential part of WLM's DNA is the production of audiophile loudspeakers according to customer requirements.
This partly concerns the purely external appearance of the loudspeaker through the choice of cabinet materials and
colour schemes in line with the aesthetic preferences of the customer. More and more often, audiophile customers
also want the absolute dream loudspeaker, often after long years of searching and trying out various commercially available concepts.
A real ‘favourite customer’, long-time happy owner of a pair of WLM Elisabeth loudspeakers, approached us after several visits to trade fairs and listening comparisons with the following specifications:
Finest spatiality with deep stage separation, unobtrusive audiophile presence with low volume levels, party suitability and unshakeable sovereignty if required. Visually, a noticeable craftsmanship perfection in the workmanship (front in olive) and an overall slim appearance were desired.
Years ago, our 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝘂̈𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗿 developed a revolutionary tweeter system with the PAC, which can now be realised for the first time with slim AMTs. Six tweeters per side create a holographic image with a tangible presence of the musical events.
The selection of suitable midrange drivers for the fast and seamlessly dynamic tweeters resulted in two 10-inch tetracoil woofers, which are supported by two 12-inch subwoofers in the absolute low bass range.
Years and months of preparation, not a day that you would want to miss : all in all, a project that fascinated everyone involved and created our new reference: Franz Ferdinand
