1️⃣ Take a train from Linz to Attnang-Puchheim 🚆 (approx. 1 hour)
2️⃣ Transfer at Attnang-Puchheim and take another train to Hallstatt 🚆 (approx. 1.5 hours)
3️⃣ Take the ferry across the lake ⛴️

🚨 Important: Bring Cash for the Ferry! 💶
The ferry only accepts cash (€4 per ride). If you don’t have cash, you’ll still be allowed to board, but the ferry operators will hold your passport until you can withdraw money and pay.

💡 Where to Find the Nearest ATM?
Once you arrive in Hallstatt village, the closest ATM is just after the church on the right-hand side—so you can withdraw cash easily before returning! 🏦
