Well 2023 was mostly a family year for me but I was surprised how much I was still able to paint this year regarding the lack of time for the Hobby.
My focus was on Star Wars, Warhammer 40k and Lotr.
For Star Wars Legion I finished a whole 800p Army (Phase II Clones including Heavies and Medic, Ayala Secura, Sabre Tank and Arc Troopers).
An AAT also marks my start for a future separatist Army which I think of...
For Busts I did a Rey and General Grievous which I especially proud of
For 40k I finished a 2k Blood Angels Army (Leviathan and Indomitus SM parts). Bases are still open and some parts still need additional Touch ups but that's it so far to have them battle ready.
For Lord of the Rings I painted several minis for Uruks Scouts and Black Root Vale Archers but I'm especially proud of my Ghulavar conversion.
I learned also alot about editing and digital backgrounds which I tried to show in my cinematic pictures and my 2024 calender which is available for my followers
Privately so far this year was especially challenging for me to get used to my new challenges as Dad of a toddler 😄😴
Let's see what 2024 will bring...
Definitely A new Star Wars Legion Army (remnants, rebels or separatist), start of a Tyranid Army and also finishing either my Huge Lurtz's Scout Army or starting a good Army like some Men of the West Armies (Rohan, Gondor or something like that.)
