From own forests to your glass
Together with BioWeingut Mehofer - Neudeggerhof in the Wagram wine region, we explored with a group of journalists what truly local and sustainable wine production looks like. After visiting the oak trees on the Manhartsberg, their local cooper Georg Benninger introduced us to the key elements of barrel making. Finally, winemaker Stephan Mehofer guided us through a tasting of current and older vintages from the single vineyard Wadenthal — Roter and Grüner Veltliner at their best.
