The album Batutas, the new release by Clube do Choro de Viena - Wiener Choro Klub, has just arrived on digital platforms. The album pays tribute to the centenary of the Oito Batutas European Tour, a band led by Pixinguinha and Donga who, in 1922, took Brazilian music abroad for the first time, introducing the world not only to choro, but also to maxixe and samba, initiating, with this, a diffusion process that explains why, nowadays, so many people in so many places in the world listen and play Brazilian music.

On the Batutas album, the Wiener Choro Ensemble, a group formed by musicians Antônio de Pádua, Roberta Karin, João Vitor, Daniel Mesquita and Marco Antonio da Costa, has the special participation of 12 guest musicians. Exploring the relationship between Brazilian and European music and still transiting through rhythms of African origin, the contemporary touch of the arrangements immerse the listener in a unique universe.

Acaba de chegar às plataformas digitais o álbum Batutas, novo trabalho do Clube do Choro de Viena. O disco paga tributo ao centenário dos Oito Batutas, banda liderada por Pixinguinha e Donga que, em 1922, levou pela primeira vez a música brasileira para o exterior, apresentando ao mundo não só o choro, mas também o maxixe e o samba, iniciando, com isso, um processo de difusão que explica porque, nos dias de hoje, tanta gente em tantos lugares do mundo escuta e toca a música brasileira.

The "Viena Brasileira" album has won numerous listeners, whether in digital platforms or in the Live concert form with the Wiener Choro Ensemble. Today you can see some of these concerts: the album recently performed on national radio ORF 1 in Vienna. The stage is very prestigious, and the show, which was all recorded, will appear on national radio in Austria. Today the show will be in Prague - Czech Republic, no doubt a super special time for our work!

O álbum Viena Brasileira tem conquistado inúmeros ouvintes, seja nas plataformas digitais ou nas apresentações do grupo Wiener Choro Ensemble. Hoje você confere um pouco de um desses concertos: o lançamento do álbum realizado recentemente na rádio nacional ORF 1, em Viena. O palco foi muito prestigiado, e o show, que foi todo gravado, será exibido em rede nacional na Áustria. Released this week by BrasaSounds, the album “Um Olho no Peixe, Another no Gato” shows the compositional and instrumental versatility of an artist who builds his work on the mixi of styles and genres, and who, with the indispensable collaboration of all the professionals involved in this endeavor, shares all this multi-cultural sound material with extreme competence.

Composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, Antônio de Pádua recorded this album in 2008 after winning a concert contest - COSERN musical - in the city of Natal, Brazil, presenting the most exciting show to a surprisingly amazed audience. Today is day or, rather, for us! Let's remember the night of the release of the album Viena Brasileira, by the Wiener Choro Ensemble.
