A heartfelt thank you to for inviting Take 2 Studios back as speakers for the Cannes Next Virtual Production program at the and to the incredible team and crew who made it all possible.

It was a privilege to join the conversation around Virtual Production and share insights from our VP work on the documentary From Paradise to Hell.

This year reminded us how quickly VP is evolving, not just as technology, but as a creative and collaborative force shaping the future of storytelling.

🎬 How can documentary filmmaking recreate places that are no longer accessible while staying historically accurate, emotionally grounded, and ethically responsible to its subject matter?

At this year’s Cannes Next Virtual Production program at , Take 2 Studios will present the case study From Reality to Reconstruction: How Virtual Production Can Empower Documentary Filmmaking.

Drawing from the making of the documentary From Paradise to Hell, directed by and , the presentation explores how VP techniques enabled the reconstruction of otherwise inaccessible environments in service of the film’s historical storytelling.

As Virtual Production expands beyond fiction, its role in documentary filmmaking opens up new conversations around reconstruction, memory, and representation.

What an action-packed week we had at Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes! 🎬

From showcasing our Provence environment at the inaugural Virtual Production Conference & Showcase Stage, to geeking out over storytelling, VP and the future of our industry with old friends and new connections alike – it was a memorable and inspiring event!

What an incredible experience at the Village Innovation Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes , where we had the pleasure of giving an insight into virtual production for an audience of passionate VP enthusiasts and curious creatives at the very first Cannes Next Virtual Production Conference & Showcase Stage.

A huge thank you to for inviting us to be an active part of this forward-thinking event, and to everyone who was involved in making the Village Innovation a reality!
