🎻 Cadeau 🎹

Meet the two internationally acclaimed musicians behind „Cadeau“:

✨ Martha Khadem-Missagh – Austrian violinist and professor at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, the USA, and Asia, collaborating with ensembles such as the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. Her performances have taken her to renowned festivals, including the Salzburg Festival and Carinthian Summer, and to prestigious concert halls worldwide.

✨ Jean Muller – Luxembourgish pianist and also a professor at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg. With numerous international competition wins, he has performed in some of the world’s most esteemed venues, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Musikverein in Vienna, and the Philharmonie Luxembourg. His recordings have received critical acclaim from Gramophone and BBC Music Magazine, reinforcing his standing as a leading figure in the classical music world.

Together, they recorded Cadeau, an album featuring works for violin and piano, showcasing their shared musical sensitivity and technical mastery. - Go check it out!

Spent the weekend at recording the 5th Philharmonic Concert conducted by Alexander Merzyn which also included the premiere of Symphony No. 1 „Four Colours“ by Marco Pütz.

Nominated for the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik!

We are thrilled to announce that the Stephany Ortega Trio has been nominated for the German Record Critics’ Award in the World Music Jury category for the album Adiós Nonino Astor Piazzolla! 🎶

Out of more than 290 outstanding new releases, only the very best have made it to the list – and we are beyond proud to be among them. 🙌

The final winners of the 1/2025 Quarterly Critic’s Choice will be announced on February 14, 2025.

🎶 Lëtzebuerger Lidderflupp - eng Lidderrees 🎶

Meet two of the artists behind our new CD project:

✨ Debbie Marinkovic – Coming from the world of musical theater, Debbie’s background in musical singing brings a fresh and dynamic interpretation to these traditional pieces.

✨ Georges Urwald – Pianist, singer, arranger, and composer - Georges is a leading figure in Luxembourg’s traditional music scene. As a teacher and collaborator at the Centre d’études et de documentation musicales (Cedom) of the National Library, his work continues to shape the local music scene.

The album was created in collaboration with the Lëtzebuerger Philharmonics under the direction of conductor Ivan Boumans.
