Art Director / Designer (m/f/d)
Vienna / Remote | 30–38h per week
We’re looking for an Art Director / Designer to join the APT team in Vienna.
This role is all about visual storytelling and digital design—shaping how brands express themselves across platforms and experiences. We’re looking for someone who combines conceptual thinking with a strong digital sensibility, bringing strategy and aesthetics together through design that moves people.
You’ll be working closely with our creative and strategic teams to translate brand strategy into bold, cohesive visual identities, and bring them to life across digital and physical touchpoints—from websites and social media to campaigns, packaging, and motion pieces.
Ideal candidates are design-driven thinkers with a passion for crafting meaningful brand worlds. You should be comfortable leading creative direction, refining design systems, and ensuring every detail aligns with the bigger picture.
Requirements
Strong skills in brand design, digital design, and art direction
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (or similar tools)
Solid understanding of web design principles (basic or advanced code know-how is a plus)
Basic motion design / animation skills (After Effects, or similar)
A good sense of typography, composition, and layout
Experience in developing and maintaining brand guidelines and visual systems
Awareness of current design & cultural trends
Ability to think both conceptually and practically
Fluent in German & English (spoken and written)
Self-motivated, organized, and proactive in communication
