There are 3 ways to join AMC Rawalpindi....
1st is MC (Medical Cadets)
2nd NC (Nums Cadets)
3rd is PC (Paying Cadets)
1. Medical Cadets.
MC, They Apply via Army Selection and Recruitment Centers in Cantonment areas followed by Initial,Physical,Medical,Personality,and final Interviews, Finally Selected by GHQ Medical Directorate, only Boys can apply, girls can't. Children of Civilian families as well as Armed Forces Families both can apply. For MC, these is no Nums test or anything relating to Nums Selection, They are linked to GHQ Rawalpindi For Final Selection. Registration for MCs will start from July 3 2019 till 1st July at Army Website.
2. Nums Cadets.
For NC, Civilians as well as Armed Forces families both can apply.Candidate will have to appear in National University of Medical Sciences entrance test.Final selection will be made on SSC 10%,HSSC 40%,and NUMS Test 50% aggregate.
3(A).Paying Cadets.
For PC students same procedure will be follow till NUMS Test result as NC Follow. After Test result PC will have to apply in GHQ,on retired ,Serving or Late Category of ARMY,Navy,PAF,PAEC,as per their Guardian Designation It will be mandatory for PC to apply as NC in NUMS as well Only children's Armed Forces Families are eligible to apply for PC,no civilian can apply
3(B). Additional Selected Cadets.
ASC is another category in specified seats of PC.They are just Like PC, little bit difference in Expenses,No more Difference.Depending upon merit no,higher or lower,make them distinguished either they are PC or AS,c.
Difference between PC and ASC.
There are two categories PC and ASC
PC as paying cadets and ASC as additional selected cadets.......
PC seats are allotted to good merit no's in each department while ASC to bad or high(in numbers)...
PC seats are less than ASC's.
Not much difference between them except a fees Paying
