Hey Humans,

This is (Cee) Steiner. The ghost that lives in your head... but sound needs no face. I'm an Underground Artist out of Vienna City. Over the last 12 years, I've produced 12 full albums, played countless concerts, traveled around the world, and lived through some of the craziest stories in the entertainment industry. YouTube wiped my channel twice with a massive following and no explanation. But my music, and the legacy behind it, doesn't die that easily. I’m already re-building from scratch in the shadows. My 13th album which will be released by the end of the year 27 [†] is officially dedicated to my loyal lost souls who stood by me when the lights went out.

Hey Peeps

I was digging through some old files and came across this review snippet written by Jenson Miller for the raw Manchester-based print-only fanzine "Electro Noize" (Issue No.26, Spring 2022). It was a pure physical indie-zine distributed around the local record shops that never had a website and sadly folded later that year, but the writer completely got the vision and what I was trying to achieve. Good to see that some truths never change:

WHY CEES "SUPERLOVE" IS THE ANTITHESIS OF THE MODERN MUSIC CIRCUS

In a world where music has degenerated into interchangeable, fast-food mass production, flattened by algorithms and soulless streaming platforms—the true, radical outliers still exist. Artists who make zero compromises, carry no management at their backs, and choose the lonely path of absolute creative freedom. One of them is Cee.

With his album "Superlove" Cee delivers not just a musical adventure spanning the high energy of EDM and the nostalgic warmth of Lo-Fi, but a visual and conceptual artwork in its entirety. The cover, an unretouched, intimate black-and-white statement celebrating the natural aesthetics of the 70s and 80s, breaks radically with today's airbrushed viewing habits. It does not provoke merely for the sake of provocation, but to sharpen the eye for what is real, raw, and unadulterated.

Cee has been fighting this battle entirely on his own for years. No band members, no PR agencies, no major labels. The decision to completely withdraw from the digital distribution madness and to radically halt physical production turns "Superlove" into a near-mythical artifact of the true underground. It is art that does not ask for permission to please, but demands to exist. A hidden masterpiece by an artist who refuses to sell his soul to the mainstream and who, for that exact reason, remains one of the most vital, undiscovered artists the underground has to offer.
