„imola-music“ is a label and publisher of electronic music with the focus on Deep House and Minimal / Tech-House. The company is being managed out of Vienna by the Germans Marco Riemann and Jens Zimmermann. The scope of activity however goes far beyond the Austrian boarder, artists and partners originating from Germany, Austria, USA or South- America. imola-music releases primarily digitally via t

he well-known online portals, the most relevant EPs are however also produced on vinyl. „This is our contribution to counterbalance the ongoing immaterialism of music“, says Jens Zimmermann about the undefeated object character of a vinyl record. imola-music’s releases so far are from 9 artists, including musicians who have already earlier released on well-known labels like Pokerflat, Cadenza or Foundsound. With regard to the music style imola covers electronic music not only for the dancefloor, but also promotes high-quality listening house music. The feedback on imola-releases is so far without exception very positive, either in reviews of all relevant music magazines or with regard to sales numbers: 2 releases made it into the top-10 bestseller lists of several online portals, tendency upwards! Tomorrow will be release-day on imola-music: Zimmer & Mann’s „Malignant Cells“ EP with some excellently produced Tech-House music already had outstanding DJ-feedback over the last weeks and generated airplay on radio-stations in Germany, UK, France, Italy, Ibiza, the US and many more. This s**t storm against Ten Walls is another great proof that electronic Music is not only about music but about an attitude of tolerance and lif style... Great to see that festival organizers, booking agencies etc. have the balls to be pretty straight in such matters! :-)
