Sometimes life comes full circle in the most unexpected ways.
Back in 2001, I was working professionally in New York and, through friends at NBC, had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the studios in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. It was an exciting moment in my career, right in the heart of one of the world's most iconic television and film capitals.
Today, 25 years later, my work has brought me back there in a very different way. We're transmitting live footage from Vienna to MSNBC's Morning Joe, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a guest, directly to New York.
Moments like these remind me how unpredictable and rewarding a career in television can be. Places that inspire you early in your journey can become part of your story again years later-just from a completely different perspective.
From Vienna to New York. A wonderful full-circle moment.
