For the 9th year in a row our doors were open for the annual Vienna Daughter Day! 💜 Last week a dozen motivated young women visited our office to learn more about game development. 🕹️

We hosted a game jam with paper prototypes 🎲 & offered insights into producing, coding, animation, UI/UX Design & QA.

Everyone had a ball and a very good time! 🪩

Yesterday we had howling 🐺 experience at the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg participating in the Homecoming Startups 2024 event.

We had a ball 💃 interacting with the next generation of Austrian developers 🕹️ & happily supported a panel discussion 📢 about the business location Salzburg.

We have been impressed by the quality of Start Up activities and the ideas as well as momentum that is floating around in Salzburg.

Last week Fachverband UBIT hosted a press conference presenting the latest economic numbers about the Austrian Games Industry.

As a follow up to a study from 2018 we see significant growth of our local industry in terms of amount of studios (+71,3%), number of developers (+127,8%), projects developed (+208%) and revenue generated (+183,6%).

While we are still a smaller community in absolute numbers, the potential growth that is reflected in this study is extraordinary and shows the abilities of our innovative, highly skilled & well-educated local industry.
