Whyalla Community here is some information about Some Essential Maintenance Happening with Your Waste Water Treatment Plant At Mullaquana

Beginning early October, for approximately 8 weeks, we’ll be undertaking routine desludging works at our Whyalla Wastewater Treatment Plant at Mullaquana.

This essential maintenance forms part of our broader efforts to improve odour management and enhance the site’s operational capacity.

During this time, you may notice extra activity and vehicle movements around the site. While there is a chance of temporary increased odour, we’ll be installing a monitoring fence and using specialised spray equipment to minimise any impact.

Our work hours will typically be between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday. We appreciate your patience as we carry out this important project.
