You know that old saying, failing to plan is planning to fail?
Well that also applies to social.
That’s why it’s so important to set aside time to plan out your content, whether it’s weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
The same goes for online community building, which is a key element of any successful social media management strategy.
Because like anything, building an engaged community online is a two-way street (or conversation, rather).
That’s why being social on social is more important than ever. But with this being said, it’s always good to have a plan.
It’s not just about liking lots of random posts or including as many hashtags as possible. It’s about interacting and engaging with purpose. Quality over quantity.
I recommend setting aside at least half an hour per week towards leaving meaningful comments on like-minded accounts and businesses in industries that you’re wanting to appeal to.
And while social is a marathon & not a sprint, you’ll probably find that the right eyes will soon be on you 👀
